Director’s Message –
This year, more than any other, our inspiring team at GJK has proven that whatever we can conceive, we can achieve. As 2011 draws to a close, GJK is thrilled to have secured a major nationwide contract for service delivery, an achievement that would not have been possible without the hard work of our remarkable staff. As we step foot onto the national stage in facility services, we take with us our commitment to providing first-rate service delivery, our dedication to clients both new and existing, and our passion for making an impact on the industry by providing service solutions that strive to be more effective, and more sustainable each day. 2011 has been the year for some extraordinary achievements. GJK was immensely honoured in July to be named recipients of an Australian Business Award for Community Contribution. The award is testament to the lives that have been transformed by our engagement with the long-term unemployed through the Public Tenant Employment Programme pilot, and hope that the programme continues to be embraced by other contractors nationally. I would like to personally thank my staff for their continued loyalty and tremendous hard work throughout the year; it is their willingness to move heaven and earth to ensure we meet the goals that keep our organisation moving forward, even in difficult economic times. I would also like to thank our clients for their ongoing support and faith in our teams, and lastly I would like to thank our industry peers for setting the high standards that push us to exceed our own expectations of what is possible. I look forward to working with you all in 2012, and wish you the very best for a safe and happy Festive season.

Director, FAIM

“Our business in life is not to get ahead of others, but to get ahead of ourselves — to break our own records, to outstrip our yesterday by our today.”
