City of Port Phillip

The City of Port Phillip is a municipality spanning part of Port Phillip Bay, and includes a variety of urban villages close to some of Melbourne's most popular beaches. One of the oldest areas of European settlement in Melbourne, Port Phillip is known for its many dynamic urban villages, a foreshore which stretches for over 11 km, cultural diversity, many Heritages listed buildings and beautiful parks and gardens. The City covers a total area of 20.62 kms.

GJK Facility Services have serviced all City of Port Phillip Buildings, Child care centres, libraries, art galleries and beach side public community buildings for over six years.

GJK has in excess of 50 project team members working on this contract, covering the area 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with careful adjustments made to staff rostering to cover the large summer public attendance to our most popular suburban beaches.

GJK Facility Services is proud to have attained a Finalist Award in Recognition for their high standard of services provided to the St. Kilda Town Hall Venue at the 2004 Golden Service Awards for this contract.
